Frequently Asked Questions

Question:  Is this a commune?

Answer:  Emphatically, no.  A commune can be summed up in what happened in the Plymouth colonies with the Pilgrims.  A commune is another term for the common granary, or as Karl Marx put it: those according to their abilities, those according to their needs.

Without exception, even when the people knew and loved each other, this approach to civilization has always failed.  It failed if you tried to use intellectuals, it failed with individuals that are passionate about religion, it has failed with those who are atheists and those who are secularists.

The mechanism is fundamentally flawed and it violates the nature of the human being.  The only way you can build a civilization is how it was phrased in the soviet constitution of all places, “Those according to their production.”

What we are going to finally do which was one of the greatest points made by Professor Andrew Galambos is to extend this to the intellectual.  And Professor Galambos called this mechanism gratitude.
